Summer is almost here! Getting Ready for Spring/Summer Outdoor Fun


It's been a long winter for some of us in northern climates, but it looks like it's finally spring and time to get ready for outdoor activities.

Here’s part of my spring to-do list to help you get ready for kid-friendly outings.

The NC Science Festival is the nation's 1st statewide science festival.  The city of Kannapolis is celebrating science with many events scheduled throughout April during the festival. Come out to Afton Village in Concord for a party on the plaza celebration with music and family fun.
Where: Afton Village, Concord.  Beginning the first week of May and running through October, the Afton Village tradition of Party of the Plaza returns.  The bring-your-own-lawn-chair extravaganza now occurs on the Village Plaza the first Friday of every month from 6:30-9:30 p.m
